Well Ranger Scout and I went to seven mile today for the first official hike of the season and a great time was had by all. We hiked back to deep creek canyon it is about 1.5 miles from the parking lot. there was a lot of water and Scout took advantage of it but he did not realize the water got deeper the closer you get to the middle so he went running in and got over his head and as you can see from the other pictures he got wet and dirty, but he had a lot of fun and that is what counts.
He is rolling in the weeds trying to get dry.

This is great series of shots of your hike! Scout is so funny... and getting really big. All the shots are fun to look and show that you three had a fine time our hiking. I'm glad the weather has improved so more hikes are ahead!
Goodness sakes he sure has grown from the last time i saw him. There all cute photos but i have to say that last one is the best and sure brought a smile to my face.
And yes there welcome to come and stay in my pet friendly room if you only need one queen size bed.
Your dogs are so beautiful! I wish my huskies were as well behaved on a walk. I can only take one at a time. I really enjoyed reading about the hike and looking at the photos.
