Post falls

This is at the city of Post Falls in northern Idaho, it is a few miles down stream from the head of the Spokane river, which comes out of Coeur d' Alene lake, and is about 30 miles from my house in Spokane.

That's a fine shot of the Head Gate. Good to include the story behind it too. Fine post, Lloyd!

What an interesting p[ost, what a shame that it's no longer working. But it looks to be in fine shape. Thanks for including the information on the history of this piece of machinery.

Very interesting. It's nice that they restored the gate.

A interesting post. I read a lot of 19th century American history and we were such a resourceful nation. I'm glad they restored the gate.
