Truck ramp

One of the first times that I visited North Bay photos there was a photo of a runaway truck ramp. On our recent trip to Wenatchee we went down this hill which is on highway 2, and I though that North Bay might enjoy seeing this truck ramp, and I hope that everyone else does also. My next two or three posts will be a series of shots of the road leading to the ramp as I can only post five shots at a time.
Thank you for visiting Ranger's and my blog.

This sign does not show the road as it truly is which you will see in my following posts.

This is about a quarter mile from the signs in the other pictures this is probably the worst corners on the road but we still have over 5 miles to go.

A good start to this interesting series, Lloyd. I like all the signs which certainly speak to the seriousness of driving down this grade. I'll look foward to the rest fo the shots.

Fantastic series of photos of the hill! Wow, those are some serious curves the trucks have to negotiate.

Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog and for mentioning my photos on your blog. At least with the hill in North Bay, it's only the grade that is the concern, with the hill you are on, the driver has to not only were about his speed but cornering as well.

Never been on that road, but certainly have been on some like it, Have you ever been to Tortilla Flats? they say not to take a motor home, well being that the rental car place screwed up we took our 30 ft motor home, the difference between your road and the flats is there was hills with over hangs of rocks. Thank god it wasn't the busy season.

G'day from Australia,

As a photographer and a novelist, I really enjoyed what you've dont with this post.

I'm also fascinated with the little details. And I'm a fan of North Bay as well!

I am glad that the Flora's links worked and you can see Flora. Thanks for the compliments to her. Sure, she is a great and lovely companion. A big hug to you and to Ranger, too!
