Saturday hike

Saturday we went for a hike on Mount Spokane and had a very good time, the temperature was nice and there was very little wind. Ranger thought the best part was not having to be on his leash.

As you can see even when he wasn't hooked to the leash it was still a great play toy

Aw there is nothing like a drink from a cold mountain stream after an invigorating hike and a game of pulling on the leash, and fetching anything I would throw for him.

LC, I saw these wonderful photos yesterday and I couldn't take my eyes off them (but I didn't want to bore you with yet another one of my ga-ga comments). Speaking of which, the one you left on my blog Tuesday afternoon totally made my day. Thank you! These photos do show his lovely personality. He's a very special sweetheart :).

Now, I wanted to let you know that yesterday I updated my Five Cents Saving Bank post to include a link to an article I ran across after you read my post, about the building's history. Please follow this link and scroll down almost all the way to the bottom of the page until you see an old b&w photo of the façade.

A wonderful week to you and Ranger, too.

Yes i think he had a wonderful time being in the open and not having to contend with his leash other than play time.
That water looks inviting as well.
